What is oral hygiene and what is the importance of oral hygiene in our daily life ? O ral hygiene includes all the process for keeping the mouth clean and healthy. Good oral hygiene is necessary for the prevention of dental caries, periodontal disease , bad breath {halitosis} and other  dental problems . Steps for maintaining good oral hygiene includes :- Brushing your teeth (at least twice a day or after every meal). Floss your teeth regularly. Rinsing. Proper diet. Other interdental aids. Regular checkups. Brushing Always use soft bristle toothbrush. Place the toothbrush at a 45-degree angle at the gum line, engage the brush and move in a circular and vertical manner.
